The fourth addition of the Johnnie Walker One Tree Music festival, is on the cards for the 7th and 8th of February. The festival returns this year featuring on day one (7th Feb) in blues heaven, the renowned blues man Bernard Allison and day two the Latin Maestros Chico & the Gypsies.
If you go to a Bernard Allison show expecting to see a clone of his world-famous father, Luther, you'll be both shocked and pleasantly surprised. When Bernard first started performing, crowds jammed the clubs to see the son play the father; today they come mostly to hear Bernard play his vision of the blues. Bernard, who jams with a seven-piece group, freely mixes the blues, funk and rock. Be prepared for some amazing guitar work and action packed performance on the 7th of Feb.
Day two (8th Feb) has the absolutely amazing Chico and the Gypsies, fronted of course by Chico the founder of the Gypsy Kings. Performing all the big Gypsy Kings tracks this band is a complete treat to witness. Just make sure to wear you most comfortable dancing shoes when you show up. If its Latin music that gets you, then this is the place you want to be on the 8th of Feb.
We admit to having downsized the festival this year due to budgetary constraints. “The festival, although smaller in size this year, is more intimate and cozy, offering a more up close and personal touch”. This also means that tickets will be in limited numbers, so rush and get yours booked.

In the past this festival has featured some amazing artists such as The Allan Parsons project, Uriah Heep, Earth Wind & Fire, Buddy Guy and many more.
This year too the festival delivers on its promise of a great weekend of Live Music and chilled out atmosphere. For the true music fiend this festival has been a source of much romance. With a reputation of delivering quality music in a well laid out atmosphere,
The festival happens on the 7th & 8th of Feb at the Taj Land’s End lawns. Good music, the open air and cool sea breeze all make for an ideal setting.
There is however a request from the organizers to the fans to please use public transport since parking is limited.
